A Nostalgic Logo For a Wanderlust Couple
Yasar & Pauli are a multi cultural couple from Germany. Coming from different backgrounds and values, I was tasked to create something that is able to strike a balance between their cultures and embody the traveling spirit for their YouTube channel.
Yasar & Pauli are a mutli cultural couple from very different backgrounds with shared love for travel. With their vast difference in backgrounds they were not sure what approach to take in regards to their logo. Each of them wanted to denote a part of their background while keeping it simple and easily identifiable. They didn’t prefer anything to do with that showed human faces or figures.
Combining the letters of their name, a shape that resembled the tail of an airplane was arrived at. The use of blue color was used to bring some resemblance of Passport covers and ink stamps. A backdrop was made with a globe that showed their love for travel along with the abbreviated logotype.
